Interested in an Enhanced Aggie ID Card* that is linked to a Wells Fargo Everyday Checking account for banking convenience?
New Mexico State University and Wells Fargo have teamed up to provide optional banking convenience with an Enhanced Aggie ID Card. When linking a Wells Fargo Checking account to your Aggie ID, you can use your card as your official NMSU student ID, as well as for ATM access and for making everyday purchases and paying bills worldwide at participating retailers and service providers.
Because these cards are issued through Wells Fargo, they are replaced free of charge if they are lost or stolen. If you choose to have the Enhanced Aggie ID card, that is the card that will be used as your student ID; your original regular NMSU student ID card will become inactive and any replacements will be issued through Wells Fargo. While you are waiting for your Enhanced Aggie ID Card or a replacement, you can receive a free temporary ID through the NMSU ID Card Services office until you receive it.
To participate in the program all you have to do is sign up through Wells Fargo. If you already have an account with Wells Fargo, please contact a local branch to order the Enhanced Aggie ID Card. If you do not yet have a Wells Fargo account, you will need to visit a local branch in order to establish your account and order the Enhanced Aggie ID Card. Please make sure you have a photo on file with the NMSU ID Card Services office prior to ordering the Enhanced Aggie ID Card. We are located in the Corbett Center Student Union building in Room 137 and our office hours are from 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
* The Enhanced Aggie ID Card is a Visa(R) debit card issued by Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.
Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. Member FDIC.
